Deconstructed Chandelier
CGI artworks by James Lawley | Lighting Design + Concept by Nerys Evans

The installation was created by lighting designer Nerys Evans as a response to social and environmental issues in the UK and specifically in our local area. They are designed using discarded nitrous oxide canisters which are a byproduct of recreational drug use and often seen discarded in the street (recent article from The Guardian).

The arrangement of the chandeliers maps the proximity of neighbouring council wards of Bristol, intended to blur the social and economic boundaries of the city.
